As we wrap up another week in the Haelo office, it can mean only one thing, This Week!
Launch event success for the Innovating for Improvement team!
This week, on Thursday 2 March 2017, we launched the Innovating for Improvement round five programme, in partnership with the Health Foundation, at the Royal College of Nursing, Marylebone, London.
Haelo has been commissioned by the Health Foundation as expert support providers for the Innovating for Improvement programme. The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better heath and heath care for people in the UK.
The day had everything, from Lego and cakes to pantomime and weather reports. That’s before we heard from our fabulous key note speakers from the South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA). Juliann Hall, Director of Care, Health and Wellbeing and Morwena Foden, Programme Lead, Quality Improvement who presented: Coproducing Health – The myths, the methods and the magic.
Making Haelo a great place to work!
It’s been an exciting week with lots of deliveries that will make up phase one of the office transformation. We moved into our new accommodation late in 2016 and have some fabulous plans to transform our office into a creative and innovative space for staff. We’ll have loads more to show you next week. Watch this space!
Haelo’s Stuart Clough, Penny Martin and Prof Maxine Power we’re at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) this week hosting learning session two of the BEH Breakthrough Series Collaborative.
BEH has always worked hard to improve safety and provide quality and compassionate care for their service users. In August 2016 we announced a partnership with BEH to take their improvement journey to the next level. Haelo aims to not only improve the quality of healthcare, but also build momentum, resilience and capability among staff to help them continue and embed a culture of improvement. You can find out more about the programme here.
