It’s been a busy and productive week here at Haelo HQ! Becky White, Communications Assistant, tells us what’s got the team chatting this week…
This week, the third edition of the Dementia United newsletter was issued, packed with the latest news updates, blogs and films (starring Angela Rippon).
Since the last newsletter, our team have been working hard following the Greater Manchester (GM) Joint Commissioning Board in April 2016. Engagement work will continue to see how Dementia United will integrate across GM. You can read the full programme update and more in the newsletter.
Attendees will enjoy an intimate drinks reception presenting the perfect opportunity for networking before taking their seats for a stunning three course meal with beautiful panoramic views of the Quays at Media City and the Manchester skyline.
With additional live entertainment creating a perfect atmosphere for the heart of the evening – The Film Festival Awards!
Last week saw our Chief Executive, Professor Maxine Power, Demystifying Improvement workshop. Missed out? Fear not, catch up with all the learnings from the day with our not-so-live blog.
We also now have a dedicated area for all of Maxine’s blog – Power on Improvement!
Haelo guest blogger, Kayleigh Price, blogs about implementing PDSA cycles in our everyday lives without even knowing.
We talk about PDSA all the time here at Haelo. In every learning session we hold, every work shop we run, every team visit we make, we extol the virtues of PDSA testing. To those of us who work in improvement PDSA is gospel. We live and breathe it every single day. But 18 months ago, when I first walked through the doors of Haelo I had never even heard of PDSA, and I honestly didn’t understand how it could really make that much of a difference. So, I wanted to take some time away from my day job and explain PDSA, and show you that you are probably already using it in your everyday lives without even realising it.
