Last month, Haelo in partnership with Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust welcomed international visitor Jenny Parr, Director of Infection Prevention and Control and Associate Director of Nursing, Waitemata District Health Board, New Zealand.
Jenny has been leading the ward accreditation programme at Waitemata District Health Board, modelled in part on the Nursing Assessment and Accreditation System programme, or NAAS for short. NAAS is the (not so) secret ingredient, which caused the unique transformation of nursing culture and safety at Salford Royal – owned and developed by nurses. The focus of the Information and Knowledge Exchange visit included a tour of Salford Royal complete with an expert NAAS session from Lead Nurse, Corporate Services, Fiona Morris.
Haelo’s most glamorous event on the calendar is back! The Film Festival will bring together like-minded people to celebrate film excellence and innovation on November 10th 2016 at The Lowry, Salford Quays.
