Jess Roberts (left) joins the Measurement and Capability Team as Project Manager. Jess completed her PhD in history of medicine/literature and science at Salford University in 2014 and finished her Information Management postgraduate diploma at Manchester Metropolitan in 2017. She has previously taught literature at Salford and Manchester Universities, worked at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation in an events capacity, and volunteered at Manchester’s Central Library cataloguing rare books dating from the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries. She is a member of the executive committee for the British Society of Literature and Science and has published research on contagious politics and disease in the nineteenth-century periodical press.
Georgia Liddle (middle) has joined the Innovation Team as Knowledge Management Assistant. Georgia completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Manchester, where she specialised in human pathogens, and focussed her research on immune responses to Malaria infection. After graduating, she stayed on to complete an internship on Student Representation and Higher Education Policy, working with the University to increase engagement with hard-to-reach student groups. Most recently, she have worked in the Drug & Alcohol Recovery Sector as a Project Officer for Lifeline Project, where Georgia focussed on impact measurement and data analysis to support the Clinical Governance team. I am looking forward to this new challenge working in the exciting field of Improvement Science!
Sarah Snape (right) joins the Networks Team as a Project Manager. Sarah graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2013 with a degree in Economics and Finance. After working in finance for a year with Marks and Spencer, she joined Stockport Homes on a Project Management Graduate Scheme where she completed her practitioner qualifications in Project Management and Change Management. During her time at Stockport Homes, Sarah worked on an array of IT projects and worked with people across the organisation to support a head office move, whilst gaining knowledge about working in the public sector.
