The Programmes function welcomes Rachel Volland, Senior Programme/Quality Improvement Lead, who joins us with a background in change management and quality improvement having been involved in a number of high profile pieces of work including Stroke 90:10 (North West England) and Healthier Together (Greater Manchester). Rachel has worked in both the public and voluntary sector with a particular focus on health and social care.
She will be overseeing and managing a portfolio of projects and programmes including Dementia United and Quality Improvement projects to organisations across the UK.
Jacob Walker also joins the Programmes team as Programmes Assistant. Jacob will provide support to the various programme within Haelo, in particular, assisting the NHS Quest network, as well as the IS4 and PrISMS teams. Jacob is an English Language and Literature graduate from Northumbria University.
Catherine Qualthrough has been appointed as a Knowledge Management Assistant within the Knowledge and Communications function. She has previously worked in information support roles in both a county council and a food wholesale organisation. She also brings with her experience from the education sector; having worked as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher.
Catherine said: “ I will be supporting the teams within Haelo as the knowledge function’s remit within Haelo continues expand.
“I am keen to put into practice key knowledge management strategies; so that knowledge from the various healthcare improvement programmes that we deliver can be captured, packaged and stored in an effective and intuitive manner.”
